We are delighted to announce the upcoming Awareness Meeting and Dissemination event for agricultural community in Egypt, which will be held at the Guest House of SEKEM farm in Belbis district, on 30th of July 2023. This significant event is coordinated by the Heliopolis University in collaboration with the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA), the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies - Institute of Bari (CIHEAM Bari), and The Italian Agency for the Development Cooperation (AICS). The primary aim of this gathering is to engage local stakeholders, farmers, researchers, and community members in discussions that will shape the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) selected in this study area : Manuring, Intercropping, and Water Users’ Associations This meeting presents a unique opportunity to collect valuable feedback, gather diverse perspectives, and pool essential information necessary for defining the goals, means, and expected impacts of the BMPs. Farmers, agricultural experts, researchers, students, and individuals with an interest in sustainable development in the region will be participating in this event to take part to meaningful discussions, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities.
