Practical Irrigation Scheduling in Semiarid Areas: Gumselassa, Ethiopia

The development of the practical irrigation schedule was based on procedures of the “Simple Calculation Method” in combination with the Hargreaves equation. A predefined irrigation calendar was prepared. The CropWat 8 computer software developed by FAO was used for determination of the crop and irrigation water requirement and irrigation scheduling.
