The effects of tillage, mulching and termite control strategies on termite activ

Chemical pesticides are commonly applied for pest control. The characteristic no tillage is that the farmland is not ploughed after harvesting the previous crop. This system has the advantages of reducing soil erosion, reducing loss of organic matter and increasing crop yield. With minimum soil disturbance and plant residue retention the soil can be protected also from pests, allowing a reduction of chemical pesticides use.
